Come and join us for an afternoon of exchange and construction around the measurement and visualisation of fine particles!
TRAKK by KIKK is organising a workshop at Le Pavillon on air quality, during which you can build your own sensor and a lamp that reacts to pollution.
The workshop is divided into two parts:
- building a particle sensor to find out the level of pollution in your environment;
- construction of a lamp to show the particle level in a luminous way.
During this workshop you will be introduced to the concepts of IoT, pollution measurement and digital manufacturing.
At the end of the workshop, you will be able to take home your own sensor and your own Canary lamp that will allow you to monitor the level of particles in your environment.
The workshop is led by Guillaume Slizewicz
Guillaume Slizewicz is a Brussels-based designer who creates custom-made objects and installations for cultural institutions, public authorities, associations and private companies that wish to study and represent complex social issues in an attractive and interactive way for all audiences.
Guillaume Slizewicz’s Canary project is supported by the TRAKK by KIKK edutainment programme.
An action made possible thanks to EnMieux , the KIKK and Le Pavillon
The workshop is open to 10 people, no previous knowledge is required.
