MAGIC HOUSE, Lauren Thiel
Lauren Thiel is a Swiss-based artist and media designer. After studying illustration, comics and animation, she pursued a Master’s degree in Media Design at HEAD – Genève, where she develops projects combining interactive technologies, creativity and play.
With Magic House, she transforms drawing into a collective animation experience. Visitors draw directly on large sheets of paper before placing the small “house” over their creation to capture it. Each drawing is then incorporated into an animation projected live onto the wall.
Throughout the exhibition, participants can add to each other’s drawings and contribute to this constantly evolving collective film. An artwork where every stroke of the pencil becomes a new piece of a world imagined together.
